I love Glitter and Be Gay, even if I have to transpose it down A LOT.

I think Gaultier should be the honorary fashion designer for Sin's court. <3

People think I hear voices inside my head telling me what to do. That's ridiculous. It's more like a movie, with these little hamster guys who hold up charts and maps and other visual aids. You know, whatever they have to use.

Haute Macabre never disappoints. <3 In a nutshell: the entire Autumn/Winter 09/10 line from Temperly London was MADE for Coppelias. I'm posting a link here instead of pics on account of embedded Youtube vid that you MUST SEE, because it really represents the feel for the collection. http://hautemacabre.com/2009/07/temperley-london/I could see a lot of the outfits here working for standard garden-variety Clockwork Coppers, not just Sin's Ministers (the hats THE HATS and the whole Art Deco look of the outfits), but I daresay inspiration for Iron Angel applicants would be very easy to find here. <3

YES! I know the guy who runs Brute Force Leather. He's a doll! If you ever want a really sturdy corset, they have wonderful stuff (someday I WILL replace the one I had and lost).

http://projectrungay.blogspot.com/2010/02/isabel-mastache-fall-2010-collection.htmlSo I am forced to pretend that they way way underground of Orpheus has people dressed like THAT with the intention of being trendy. You know, which is pretty trendy and hip for people who hang around freak shows, I suppose. I like to imagine that the above-ground and below-ground of Orpheus has drastically different moods and fashions and trends, mostly to do with the Gentry being above and the Folk being stuck below. Above-ground is very serious, crisp, and elegant, like steampunkish Phantom of the Opera. The below-ground scene is like Tim Burton's fondest nightmares (look here for a hip, young Oogie Boogie even).

...Oh, god, he did. And people say Japanese fashion is weird.
