I discovered the best fashion blog yesterday whilst google-surfing for ideas for Ida (who really needs a civilian name XD) -- hautemacabre.wordpress.com. Is it sad I'm tempted to go on a screencap spree from the Stargate Ark movie? 'Cause the whole time I kept seeing bits of architecture that pinged as belonging on Icarus or just Vega-wide XD

I would like to point out the obvious (especially due to my recent typ), that the Vega System is very close to Vegas System. I sense shenanigans exploring this will come in the future XD.

And Pixie? I love that vest. Screw saving it for a guy, I'm stealing it for Neve :PPP

Yes! That was exactly what I meant! That's what the "Sloane Rangers" of Vega wear, thinking they are all that and a bag of potato chips.

Also, though it's not exactly images, I've been watching the movie "1776", which has given me tons of inspiration for the Eurydicean Society of St. Serenity. Expect a bunch of squabbling, feisty, loquacious old politicians on the side of the Free Senshi!

Netflix told me to watch an anime series called Last Exile and it has totally given me TONS of bits I'm throwing into Neve and other bits. I'll be taking screencaps as I watch, but here are a few that really caught my eye:


I'm trying to figure out what instrument panels look like (which is kind of essential given Neve being a pilot and as such is so technologically inclined), but I have a feeling the end result is going to look a lot like this.


I love this whole look, and the empty chairs. Maybe an impromptu council table for the Senshi, with empty chairs for those they haven't found yet?


That outfit? Totally stealing and roughing it up for some people in the Resistance of the piratey-kind  XD.

I've wanted to use this city concept for some time, and I think I'll pattern the main city on Ida after it (with more spires, of course). It's a steampunk-sorta city in a dormant volcano caldera. ^_^ Here are some samples:

An aerial view -- the city I'm thinking of will prolly be in a large lake, not the ocean, but still ^_^
